| LA For Christ - KY - Featured Independent Artist | Indie Republic Hello my name is LaDonna McGill aka LA McGill. I am a female gospel rap artist from Louisville, KY. In the discovery that my full name means “God like Lady” I knew I was destined to do the works of God. I have been in the music industry most of my life. I am multi-talented in this field with the skills of writing, rapping, singing, producing shows, routines, to managing. My love and passion for music started at a very young age while singing in the church choir. Music is healing to my soul, a way I express my feelings and love with the ability to help someone else. The reason why I choose to do Gospel Music is because of the deep love and respect I hold in my heart for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is all for the Glory of him. My single is called “Holy Road” which is on my upcoming album “Acceptance”. Acceptance tells of my journey of finding God and his acceptance of me just as I am.
