Universal, vital, all encompassing, and vastly
important, the opinions surrounding this topic are emotional and passionate.
Seemingly a routine act, the end result is always under scrutiny and rarely left alone without comment.
The topic?
What direction to hang the toilet paper.
Laughable at first, but no one is without opinion and they are strong. There is the school of thought that the paper should come from over the top and hang down. Others vehemently disagree and argue the one and only correct way is to have the paper come from the underside to hang down. When a party from one school of thought is met with a paper hang of the other, the clash could result in a cataclysmic end.
So, time to weigh in on this endless debate. Are you an “over the top” or an “underside” toilet paper hanger. Give your position and support with reasons you know to be indisputable for why the toilet paper needs to hang that way.
In my home we have rolls that hang both ways (we have three toilets). With a husband and two sons in the house, I’m just trying to make sure there is a roll of toilet paper on the bar, period. Orientation of the paper is truly secondary! But, for those of you with definitive opinions, here’s your forum.
