The Great Bedside Debate by Chief 187™ Once again I pose an age-old debate for you all to voice your opinion.

Our first polls about making the bed, hanging the toilet paper, and real vs. artificial Christmas trees were fraught with polarizing camps, passionate responses, and great turn out.

This query should elicit more of the same as it seems to be a topic that yields black and white answers.

On what side of the bed do you sleep?

When with a partner, is it difficult to adjust if they sleep on “your” side? The Great Bedside Debate by Chief 187™

Is sleeping side a “deal breaker”?

Weigh in now.

I'm pretty partial to the right side of the bed but it's not a deal breaker. I'm pretty easy going so I will let my sleeping partner take whatever side they want unless the bed is up against the wall. I don't like feeling boxed in. If the girl is bangin it doesn't matter.

Right side for me - always has been. Even when I slept alonesome I always got out of bed on the right. Fortunately Marie prefers the left, this is just one more check-mark on the list of compatibilities .

awwww I was so sure it'd be saucier ;)
Honestly? My side of the bed is wherever I can comfortably lay on my left side. If sweety takes a position that makes that awkward (trying to breathe around his chest, then keeping myself awake by the raspberrie noises of my nose against him) I flip it, feet to head, head to feet. Granted, this has awkward moments too... (3 am wake up from a toe up the nose for either of us, though amusing later, not so much then). Being crowded isn't necessarily a bother to me, to him yes, he's over sensitive to heat, but me? Honestly, I'm actually comfortable with the weight of another on me somehow. Sides aren't a deal breaker with me because one way, or another, I will be comfortable. Whether you are or not. With a six year old, sides can't always be an issue anyways, because if theres a nightmare, the kid makes the choice in the end. (My bug is a VICIOUS kicker, who also is tender to heat. If she takes to our bed one, or both, of us end up finding a comfy spot on the floor or couch)
