Welcome to the Friday Music Blog on the Indie Republic Network. Music is a universal way to communicate. With the great many styles and genres that exist, music unifies like nothing else. This forum is a place to expose and discuss new music, Indie artists, as well as revel in influencers in music, favorite songs, classics, and little known tunes. This is an interactive blog that gets better the more who read and respond.

As I am the NASCAR “gur:u on two Indie Republic Network sports shows, I like to include the NASCAR schedule for the weekend.
The Camping World Truck Series appears at the Michigan International Speedway for the running of the VFW 200 on Saturday, August 20th at 12:30pm to be broadcast on Speed.
The Nationwide Series visits our “Neighbors to the North” as they run in Montreal, Canada at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve for the running of the Napa Auto Parts 200. The competition takes place on Saturday, August 20th at 2:30pm EST on ESPN.
Finally, the Sprint Cup drivers will run Michigan International Speedway on Sunday, August 21st at 1pm EST televised by ESPN. The Pure Michigan 400 Race Recap by Chief 187 will publish the night of August 21st.
The Indie Republic Network airs two wholly different sports shows on two of its stations and I am fortunate to be on-air talent on both. The first airs on Tuesday nights from 8-10pm and is called “Around the Cooler” on WhooBazoo.com. From highlights to analysis, gossip to debate, Curtis, Bill, Eric, RJ, and I cover it all LIVE every Tuesday.
Thursday night brings a different vibe with Eventlevel.com’s “The Final Round Show”. With a full hour or more of the most current MMA news, interviews, and profiles, another hour of pure sports discussions, and a litany of top name guests, this show is hot!
